'I will help you cut the crap from your wardrobe.'

This bold promise comes from Biek, a designer with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. But Biek isn't interested in selling you the latest trend; she is passionate about deconstructing the conventional to highlight the true essence of what we wear.

Biek’s journey began in the Netherlands, where seven years of art school helped her develop a unique eye for 'collage-making'—the ability to cut away the unnecessary to reveal the essential. This skill became the foundation of her design philosophy. She began questioning conventional design early on: How can a simple t-shirt regain its essence? How can we shed new light on a garment through different combinations?

Her career took her from major denim brands to high-paced roles as a fit specialist in Beijing, China. throughout it all, she applied her collage skills to her design process, piecing together different clothes to create something entirely new.

After years in the industry, Biek realized that while clothing has the power to empower, the industry itself often pushes for excess. She decided to stop designing more clothes and instead become part of the solution.

She founded Biekaleidoscope, a platform where she teaches women how to make conscious wardrobe choices. Her philosophy is distinct: she helps clients develop a stronger relationship with their clothes, not by buying more, but by creating beauty from what they already have. Much like a collage, she encourages women to embrace what speaks to them and discard the rest.

What is 'Moon Milk' and 'Biekindle'?

Biek’s methods for revitalising a wardrobe go far beyond simple organisation. From turning old clothes into framed wall art to her 'Moon Milk' concept, her approach is truly avant-garde.
